Bicyclist critically injured in Clearwater: The Clearwater Police Department reported a collision involving a bicyclist and a vehicle occurred on Thursday, February 18th, at Dimmitt Drive and the service lanes of U.S. 19. The crash was reported just before 11 AM. Helicopter Ambulance Air Life 3 responded and flew the injured bicyclist to a hospital.
Photos posted on IONTB showed a bicycle pinned underneath what appeared to be a water delivery truck. Further details were not available, and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
